Income Tax raid started by Morning 5 AM in 7 places belongs to Ram Mohan Rav, who is the current chief secretary of Tamil Nadu. This is the first time in history of Tamilnadu to raid a chief secretary house who is currently in power.

A chief secretary is the most powerful person in a state. All government activities and even Chief Minister governance will be under the supervision of a Chief secretary of the state.

Ram Mohan rav is the former collector of Chengalpattu in 1990s.

On December 8, Income Tax department seized more than Rs.100 crore in cash and 120 kilogram gold from the houses of Shekar Reddy a sand-mining contractor. Now several news media states that Mr. Ram Mohan Rav is a friend of Shekar Reddy and both speaking the same language. And also states that, based on the documents seized in Reddy houses, raid takes place in Mr. Ram mohan rav houses too.
